We’re SaltyCloud—a growing team of people who, in 2017, serendipitously came together in Austin, Texas to form a public benefit company (PBC). That meant that no matter where the road took us, our company's DNA would always consider the interests of all our stakeholders—customers, employees, investors, society, and mother earth.

What does 'SaltyCloud' mean?

Our name ‘SaltyCloud’ reflects the core principles that shape our company and solutions. ‘Salty’ has dual meanings. In the world of cybersecurity, ‘salting’ is a technique that fortifies data, making it harder to crack. It also represents the ‘salt of the earth’ philosophy, embodying our genuine, honest, and reliable approach. ‘Cloud’ highlights that we deliver modern, cloud-based technology solutions. As a Public Benefit Company, we chose this name to symbolize our commitment to building secure, accessible technology that aligns with our mission of making a positive impact on society.
